Buffalo Plains Wind Farm is a 495 MW electricity generating facility on 17,500 acres of privately owned farmland near Lomond, Alberta.

The facility produces electricity using 83 wind turbine generators and benefits the community through job creation, lease and property tax payments, and local community initiatives.
